Black tektites
Created out of the cataclysmic explosion of an Asteroid colliding with the Earth. Tons of molten material and rock are blasted up, into space. Some of this material continues out into the Cosmos, and some returns back to Mother Earth. As this molten material enters the atmosphere, most burns up, but a rare few make it all the way back. As the molten Tektites fall, they spin and change shapes. There are "Tear Drops", "Dumbbells", "Spheres", "Concaves", and others. Many people want to collect as many shapes as they can. Like the "Phoenix" bird, Tektites were born out of a disastrous cataclysm. They were "re-born", and carry this energy.
